The overwhelming success of the P’square brothers in Nigeria’s music industry today has left us with no other conclusion that Nigeria may never have another massively successful music duo many years to come.
Peter and Paul Okoye started strong as Psquare in the era of Bizzy Body, E Don Happen and other songs that made waves off their earliest album. Their debut album alongside visuals for some of their songs back then portrayed them as promising African Pop Stars complete in vocal delivery and amazing dance skills.
In past years, Nigeria’s music industry have had quite a good number of talented music groups. The likes of KC Presh, Zule Zoo, Style Plus, Maintain and lots more could not hold on together for long as a result of unresolved crisis.

While some groups broke-up to go solo, others stopped being relevant.
Even though we still have the likes of Skuki and Bracket very much together, their achievement is obviously no match to Psqaure‘s mouth watering record of success in terms of awards, hits, recognitions and wealth.
You will recall that Psquare once had a record deal with Akon’s Konvict music and have worked with international artistes, like Akon, Sean Paul, Rick Ross and a host of others, thereby strengthening their imprint in the global music scene.
Meanwhile, with the facts on ground, Nigeria’s music industry may never be able to boast of another successful music duo like P’square brothers, if they decide to quit music today.

The Psquare’s legacy seems to be rather unbeatable or what do you guys think?

Let’s talk.
