A 29-yr old vintage automobile wash attendant, Mohammed Chado, has been arrested by the police in Abuja for allegedly selling a 12 months old 2000 version of Toyota Camry that a consumer had asked him to wash.

 

The suspect, who was working at a car wash outlet in Apo, Abuja, allegedly made away with the automobile and bought it for N450,000, which he reportedly used to marry a wife.

 

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, Sadiq Bello, stated: “Chado became arrested at Batafe village in Niger country in which he turned into hiding after he offered a Toyota Camry 2000 version that changed into given to him for laundry."

 

The stolen automobile has been recovered.” Chado, in an interview with newsmen, explained that he spent N300,000 on his wedding ceremony and expended the balance on feeding and different desires.

 

The suspect said: “I gave the cash to my family to buy the wished wedding ceremony gadgets, then I spent the stability on feeding myself for twelve months.”
