US singer Chris Brown has been released from custody in Paris over rape allegations against him, said the city’s prosecutor’s office.
A judicial source close to the investigation confirmed that Brown had been accused of aggravated rape and drug offences.
The woman who filed the complaint said she met Brown and his friends at a nightclub in northwestern Paris on Wednesday before they all went to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, a police source said. The Paris prosecutor’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
