 “Reason why I stopped laughing and mocking people for what they wear and their appearances.
Years back, my JSS 2 second term after my first paper I saw one of the student wearing a tattered shoe so I gave my friends signal and we started laughing at her shoe. She saw us laughing but we didn't mind, we continued laughing.
Later that day, i was rushing back to my hostel then the girl stopped me and said she wanted to talk to me I stopped and she started talking. Mehn this girl started crying and asked if I knew where her mom worked and why they can't get her a new shoe and I shouldn't laugh at her cuz I don't know what her parents can afford.
From that day, my conscience couldn't let me laugh lyk a fool again.
If u see someone looking all tattered and torn, instead of laughing and mocking the person's appearance, help the person anyway u can not everyone is opportuned like u.
