Selena Gomez stepped out for a good cause, marking her first red carpet appearance since seeking treatment for depression and anxiety.
The “I Can’t Get Enough” singer posed for photos on Wednesday as she attended WE Day California in Los Angeles. This is the first time that we’ve seen Gomez on the red carpet since last June.

Gomez wore a gorgeous Dior plunging gown and bright smile as she made her way past photographers, stopping to take several shots. She looked happy and healthy ahead of the event, which celebrates youth leading lasting social change.
Her appearance at WE Day comes just one day after she opened up about her mental health.
Speaking on the Dream It Real podcast, Gomez said, “I go to therapy. It’s just one of the most important things — to get to know yourself. Not saying everyone in the world has to do it! But I do think that it’s helped me understand myself and my childhood a lot better.”
As The Blast reported, Gomez completed a treatment program in February for issues relating to depression and anxiety.
