XXXTentacion’s mom has been hit with a $10,000 bill by the hospital where her son was pronounced dead. According to court records obtained by The Blast, North Broward Medical Center has filed a claim against XXXTentacion’s estate, which is run by his mother Cleopatra Bernard.
The hospital is demanding they be paid $10,417.26 for services they provided. XXXTentacion was shot to death on June 18, 2018 in a robbery outside an auto shop in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was rushed to North Broward Medical Center where officials would later pronounce him dead.
The medical center wants the estate to pay the entire $10k bill ASAP. Bernard has yet to respond to the claim in court. Bernard has been dealing with a lot of estate issues in the past several months. Most recently she has been battling her son’s former friend/music producer James H. Duval (aka Jimmy Duval) and Stache Records over $1 million they claim to be owed. The claim stated they were owed money that was due now and relating to "royalties, contribution, breach of contract/copyright infringement regarding the production marketing and distribution" of the song "Look at Me," which Duval claims to have written.
