Popular Nigerian comedian, Mark Angel was nearly beaten by a mob in the streets of Port-Harcourt after he was caught trying to shoot a comedy skit during the #ENDSARS protest.
Per the video, the boys were seen descending on Mark Angel for shooting comedy in these hard times and he was trying to calm down the tension but the mob refused to listen to him.
“Ein go dey do comedy…we go use you do comedy today”,
One of the boys was heard screaming. “Leave am, leave am, don’t do, don’t do”, another was also heard pleading on his behalf.
Most entertainers have held on their works in the midst of the #ENDSARS protest since they are not in normal times.
