Everyone better get their Soul Glo ready, because “Coming to America” is … coming back to America!
Fans had long been anticipating a sequel to Eddie Murphy‘s 1988 comedy, and last week at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount revealed that “Coming to America 2” was actually happening.

Monday morning, Oscar winning costume designer, Ruth E. Carter, announced she was fitting Murphy and co-star Arsenio Hall for the upcoming sequel.
“GOOD MORNING MY NEIGHBORS! It’s official! Preliminary fitting for Coming to America 2 with Prince Akeem, Semmi and Oscar,” Carter exclaimed, while showing off the award she recently won for “Black Panther.”
There has been no storyline or details released yet for the sequel … but we cannot wait to see what they come up with, especially if Randy Watson makes a return.
