Kim Kardashian-West is taking the law into her own hands — she is studying to become a lawyer!
That’s right, the “KUWTK” star is planning to add “attorney” to her resumé after hopes to check off her goal of passing the bar exam in 2022.
And she’s already getting the ball rolling, telling Vogue she started an apprenticeship last summer at a law firm in San Francisco.
Mrs. West shared the news while posing for the cover of Vogue’s May issue. On the surface, Kim is her usual self, oozing sex appeal, but inside the pages of the magazine, she talks all about her future plans to expand her education.
“I had to think long and hard about this,” she said. “I never in a million years thought we would get to the point of getting laws passed,” she told the magazine, adding it was the success of getting Alice Marie Johnson’s sentence commuted “that was really a turning point for me.”
Kim Kardashian gives her dad, Robert Kardashian, credit for her interest too.
“On the weekends, they used our home as an office, with Johnnie Cochran and Bob Shapiro,” she recalled. “My dad had a library, and when you pushed on this wall there was this whole hidden closet room, with all of his O.J. evidence books. On weekends, I would always snoop and look through. I was really nosy about the forensics.”
With one test already out of the way, Kim tells Vogue she is taking the “baby bar” this summer.
Kim isn’t paying attention to the haters, saying, “I love to be put in a situation where I can have a conversation with someone who might not be inclined to think much of me, because I can guarantee they will have a different opinion and understand what’s important to me after they’ve met me.”
